Katzelkraft - Mushpignons

Hi everyone, 

Today is Katzelkraft day and I'm back with another ATC.

Today we had thundershowers and afterwards it smelled somehow like mushrooms...

So the idea to the ATC with the amazing mushpignons, designed by Isa, was not far! 

As background I used again one of the gelprints I made recently.

I stamped the mushrooms and fir trees on the ATC. I stamped two of the mushrooms again on gelprint scraps and cut them out. I also used gel print scraps for the three leaves.

Two of the words I stamped on black labels and heat embossed with white embossing powder.

Finally, I adhered the mushrooms, leaves and words to the ATC and stamped the tiny sentiment next to the fir tops....

Hello everyone!

Today starts a new challenge at 52 Christmas Card Throwdown. This month it's my turn to guide you through the challenges.

I hope you'll have a lot of fun with this color combination....

Green, Brown & Blue

First I stamped the text, removing some ink from the stamp beforehand so that the print wouldn't look too bold and the sentiment would show up well.

I then stamped the cross stitch pattern. The two stamps were very small and I had to stamp the pattern several times next to each other. 

Added some ink splattern and stamped a few tiny stars.

I stamped the polar bear, hat and mittens on bristol paper. I colored the images with colors from Stampin'Up ink pads, cut them out and fixed them with foam tape. I attached the mittens to the bear's neck with linen thread.

Today starts a new challenge at the Day of the Month Card Club! 

This month we are celebrating 

International Dot Day

"Everything starts from a dot."

- Wassily Kandinsky

For this very simple card, I adhered various washi tape strips to white cardstock and cut the finished panel slightly smaller than the blank card.

I die cut the letters from black cardstock and threaded them on with pink twine. Attached the twine ends to the back and adhered the panel to the blank card.

Finally, I added two balloons. The pink one is die cut from glittery foam.

Katzelkraft - Light Bulb Moment

Hi everyone, 

Today is Katzelkraft day and I'm back with a new project. This time with an ATC.

The background is a leftover from one of the gel prints I did recently. 

I lightened the area behind the light bulb with gesso and stenciled the upper right corner with Black Soot (Distress Oxide). On top I stamped white dots. On the bottom area I stamped a part of the Electrical Circuit and heat embossed it with gold. Jazzed up a few spots with white gel pel.

I stamped the light bulb and moon on Bristol paper, colored with colored pencils and cut out. I stamped the light bulb another time on acetate, cut it out and adhered it to the one with the moon.

I stamped the sentiment on black labels using Wild Honey (Distress Oxide). Heat embossed them clear and backed them with white cardstock.

I added the light bulb and the sentiment to the ATC and stamped a few more words. 

I finished by backing the ATC with black cardstock.

New Saturday and new challenge at 52 Christmas Card Throwdown. 

This month it's my turn to guide you through the challenges.

As usual in the first week of the month we have a sketch for you. (see below)

Since I was away from home last week and the week before, it had to be a quick card. I stamped dots/snowflakes on bristol paper and die cut a circle. The background, Santa and the sentiment are from a design paper pad. I cut out the pieces and adhered them, along with the circle. Because of the Santa, I flipped the sketch around.

Hi everyone, 

I'm back with a new Katzelkraft card. 

Actually, this post would have been for Tuesday, but I was spending a week visiting my family in Germany and had my mind completely elsewhere.

Felt like black and white this time.

I set the scene with the help of masking. 

Added light shading with gray and black and stamped the sentiment. Done!
