Inky Fingers Today !

Hi everyone!
Today I play along with Less is More. They has a color and OMBRE/shadow challenge this week.

First, I tore a piece of watercolor paper to a rectangle and sprinkled it with water. Then I added a few drops of Disstress ink "Vintage photo" on it, sprinkled again with water, turned it a bit back and forth and put it aside for drying.
While the paper was drying, I took a bigger piece of paper and wet it with a thick brush and water.
Then I used the same ink, but this time with a brush and with only a tiny droplet of color! - I wanted the background as bright as possible!
Next I stamped a small diamond pattern ( by ALADIN ) on the torn paper and stuck it to the bigger one.
To finish I stamped the word ART ( by ALADIN ) in a very soft color just under the image and glued the whole panel to the white card base!

I do not often use liquid ink but one thing is for sure,
I loved to see how it merged in the wet paper ..... and I like the result!

Try it yourself and enjoy ;)

  2. Wow! What a stunning piece of art on a card! At first glance I thought it was metallic but you have actually been very clever with your choice of ink colours. You have created some incredible effects and sense of texture. Your stamps are wonderful too.
Thanks so much for joining us at Less is More

  3. Echt toll und direkt einrahmenswert! Du könntest es auch bei http://casmixup.blogspot.com/ einstellen, weil du "liquid colors" genommen hast. Und als eine Wahl könnte das "tearing" gelten, denke ich...
