News from the wild...

Hello everyone!
It's halftime at the Dream Factory and we're still in the wild. Our theme is Jumanji, and today I'm gonna show you another card from the jungle.

For my background I took a sheet of patterned paper - I have so much from this stuff and actually never use it!
I die-cut different leaves and colored them with alcohol markers. Others are directly stamped on the panel you can see behind the leaves. The panel is a remnant from a background I made with the Gelli-plate.
The animals are fabric-textured, padded stickers. The branch on which the bird sits is fussy cut.

The sentiment is stamped on a small strip, which is slightly curved and only glued at both ends. As a final touch I added three sequins to the card. I really like the "zebra look" of the patterned paper...
...and on top of that, several of the black stripes are provided with green shimmering glitter, which can be seen very well on this view!

What do you think about it?

  3. Very eye-catching card! I like the contrast between the black & white zebra paper and the bright colors of your jungle. Also, the curved sentiment strip adds some nice dimension.
