Hello everyone!
I am back with a new card to make your mouth water
and to remind you of our current challenge at Day of the Month Card Club
National Ice Cream Day
...and here is my inspiration - a popsicle
...und hier ist meine Inspiration - ein Eis am Stiel
I used a wide brush and made rings with more or less diluted yellow ink to do the background.
The popsicle is hand-drawn and colored with alcohol markers.
Some cool things about ice cream that you may never have heard of.
- Chocolate ice cream was invented before vanilla
- Vanilla was rare and exotic in the late 1700’s
- Ice cream in America in the 1700’s was rare and enjoyed by the elite
- The country that consumes the most ice cream is USA, followed by Australia then Norway.
- Chocolate syrup is the most popular ice cream topping
- Some of the strangest flavors are: avocado, garlic, chili, licorice, Stilton cheese, and bacon
....see more of them on DotMCC
