The secret ingredient...

Hello everyone!

It's half time at the Dream Factory, and I want to remind you of our current challenge "Chocolat"

Keywords: Chocolate, candy, cupcakes, sweets, chocolates, ❤️ 

...in short, anything that contains or is made with chocolate.

You can also get inspiration from the movie poster (see below) 

For the background I used Aqua Markers. I scribbled two shades of brown on an acrylic block, sprayed water on it and then pressed it onto white cardstock. Once dry, I embossed the panel to get the wood look.

The pastries were stamped, colored with alcohol markers and fussy cut. I wrote the quote on small labels, backed them with black and adhered them, as well as the pastries, to the card. - Hope you like it.

Hello everyone!

Today is 52 Christmas Card Throwdown day on my blog. This week's challenge is 

Mixed Media

On my card there is: 

Texture paste (stars), white color blobs, glitter, foam (big star), silver thread, die cuts (fir and deer) - all this on a background prepared with watercolor and Distress Oxide.

The snow is made of torn paper - I smeared some glue on it and sprinkled it with glitter.

Katzelkraft - Relax...

Hello everyone! 

It's Tuesday and I'm back with a new Katzelkraft creation. 

This time I used the entangled dogs from the "Les Mordants" collection. 

I combined them with one of the "Les Pabos -Sherlock Holmes" characters, a quote from the "Relax, Citations Anglaises" set and the "Les Arbres Silhouettes" stamp

I used Distress Oxide for the background - lately I've actually been doing this a lot. 

I sponged with blue to start, stenciled the leaves with green, and then stamped the silhouettes of the trees.

Next I stamped the dogs and the guy on Bristol, colored them with alcohol markers, and cut them out with scissors. 

I stamped the sentiment in white ink on a black speech bubble - mine is square, but it's still a speech bubble.

And finally, I glued all the parts on the already finished background and mounted it on a blank card

DotMCC - Challenge #24 - Reminder

Hello everyone!

It's time for a little reminder of our current challenge at Day of the Month Card Club. The theme is

Valentine's Day

I sponged a little area of the card with Peacock Feathers (Distress Oxide) and made splashes with white ink. Then I die cut the heart, stenciled it with little hearts and adhered it to the card. 

I colored the sweet couple (Scrap Plaisir) with alcohol markers and fussy cut them. Just above the two, I highlighted three little hearts with a fine tip marker.

The sentiment is from Florilèges Designs and says "Love is in the air..."

Besinnliches Weihnachtsfest

Hello everyone!

As you know, Saturday is 52Christma Card Throwdown day on my blog. This week we can play with

Tags on Cards

Stamped the sentiment on the blue cardstock panel and embossed it. Made then small splotches with black ink and let them dry. I attached an organza ribbon and two silver cords to the panel and adhered it to the card blank.  

I die cut the tag, stars and village and glued them on as well. 

The ground of the village is covered with glue and sprinkled with white glitter. Hope you like it.

Katzelkraft - Valentine, you color my world!

Hello everyone!

It's Tuesday and I'm back with a new Katzelkraft creation.

This weekend was Valentine's Day and my crayons seem to be in love too!

A little sponging, some stenciling, a few hearts and black ink splashes.... the background was ready. All I had to do was color the pencils, cut them out and glue them on. For more fun, I gave them googly eyes.

The sentiment is written on little labels and glued on as well. The final touch was a narrow washi tape at the bottom.

Chocolate makes everything better

Hello everyone!

Today I invite you to play along with the new Dream Factory challenge.

For February we have chosen a very sweet and mouth-watering movie...

Stamped the cupcakes and cake pieces on Bristol, colored them with alcohol markers and cut them out with scissors. 

After embossing and die cutting the slightly smaller panel with hearts, I added the sentiment already embossed on vellum paper and adhered the whole thing to black cardstock. Then I pasted the cupcakes and cake pieces on top and it was done!
