DotMCC - Challenge #25 - Reminder

Hello everyone!
It's time for a little reminder of our current challenge at Day of the Month Card Club. The theme is

Learn About Butterflies Day

People love watching colorful butterflies float from flower to flower. But from the tiniest blues to the largest swallowtails, how much do you really know about these insects?
Here are 10 butterfly facts you'll find fascinating!

After creating the background with Distress Oxide inks, I stamped the grass, branch, sun and flowers.
I used three of the insects from the "Les Nounounes" stamp set from Katzelkraft and slightly reshaped two of them.

The praying mantis is the most transformed. I cut off the bottom part of her body, set it a little higher, and also gave her hand-drawn wings. - You don't see them often, but mantises have wings! ...and as you can see, she wonders about them herself!
The top insect already had wings, but I wanted to give it bigger ones.
The third insect remained in its original form. I colored them all with alcohol markers. The quote is handwritten.

So that's the story of this card, I hope you like it!

DotMCC is also celebrating its 2nd birthday, and there's great stuff to be won.
...just hop over to the Challenge Blog --- you won't believe your eyes!

...and that's not all!!!
As a thank you on my part, I also have a little something for you!

Thank you very much for your support! You bring the blog to life and make it what it is!
I will raffle this prize at the end of the challenge among all those who left a comment! (main + reminder post)!

Good luck!!! 🍀🍀

  10. This just caught my eye in the Gallery and I just had to tell you how incredible it is!! The colours are so vibrant and I've never thought to stamp grass images over green blending...where have I been??? I would never have thought either that the insect images were not original. You've changed them seamlessly, as if they should have been like that in the first place. And your handwriting is perfection, thought it was a stamp too! I'm over the moon that you shared this with us at TIME OUT!
