Merry Christmas from owl of us

Hello everyone!
We have a new challenge at 52 Christmas Card Throwdown. We always start the month with a sketch. (See below)

As I said a few weeks ago, I want to use more of my design papers....

I cut a large, 30 x 30 cm sheet into 6 pieces, which makes 6 pieces of 15 x 10 cm. On the design paper I used was written "Merry Christmas" in big curved letters. As you can see, there's not much of it left on the individual parts. For example, on my card, you can only see a little bit of the lettering in the bottom left corner. It looks like a big squiggle, but it fits in nicely.
I die cut three circles from the design paper and marked the openings on the white cardstock underneath. I stamped the owls inside the circles and colored them with alcohol markers. I cut out the overhanging branches with a cutter and unfolded them to adhere the design paper. Then I folded the cut out pieces back in the original direction and glued them on.
I sponged the panel with blue Distress Oxide, put glue dots here and there, sprinkled white glitter on top and let it dry.  (You can still see the original color of the paper in the center)
I trimmed the panel and pasted it to a blank card. Finally, I stamped part of the sentiment into the large circle and the other on a piece of yellow cardstock, added foam pads to it and pasted it in place.

Have Fun!
