Thank You

Hi everyone!
I want to remind you about our California Poppy Day challenge at the Day of the Month Card Club...




I love poppies! They seem so strong through their colors and yet they are so fragile and ephemeral!

A very simple card I made with the same set as this one. The text that serves as a background for the flower is from La Fourmi (stamped with Bermuda Bay). I stamped the flower, colored it with watercolors and then added green and black splatters to the panel. I then tore the edges down to the size I wanted. For the panel behind the text I used the larger flowers and the colors Pumkin Pie and Pear Pizzazz. The small sentiment is from another SU set.

  6. J'aime beaucoup aussi cette carte. Elle me fait penser aux fleurs qu'on mettait à sécher entre deux pages d'un dictionnaire pour en faire un herbier. J'aime surtout le magnifique fond que tu as fait derrière avec une plus grosse fleur, il a l'air très délicat avec cette jolie transparence des couleurs comme sur les pétales de coquelicots. Bises
