'Tis The Season

Hi everyone,
Today is Katzelkraft day! :))
Are you afraid of snakes? The one on my card might change your mind, because it's one of the cute kind :))
It's one of the six funny snake stamps recently released by Katzelkraft.

I recently saw this kind of folded card on Stempel Spass
my friend Cornelia's blog. That gave me the idea of the skiing snake...
The super simple folding technique creates two small compartments in which you can place beautifully wrapped banknotes, gift cards or another small, flat gift. - You can see how to do it here.

I stamped snowflakes on the lightly blue-sponged background (not really visible in the photo) and glued design paper to the front pocket.
I stamped the snake, colored it with alcohol ink markers and cut it out. The small gifts it is carrying and the scarf are from Craft Emotions. The Santa hat is a sticker. The skis are from the "All mad here" stamp set, but had to be adapted to the length of the snake with a few strokes. I put it all together and adhered it to the card.

I kept the inside very simple. I just used a small Christmas tree and one of the Christmas sentiments from last year's Katzelkraft stamps.  Added liquid pearls to the tree.
I will wrap a few banknotes like presents and put them in the inside pocket next to the Christmas tree.

Hope you like it. - See you next Tuesday with a new Katzelkraft inspiration! ;)
