Our movie for this month is:
Mia and Me
This month we are entering the magical and enchanting world of fairies and unicorns,
a world where anything seems to be possible.
Although I'm not really big on glitter and this type of card, there's something about being tempted by it from time to time. -- Plus, I love pink and I needed a dreamy birthday card ....that helps a lot!
In my initial idea, my card looked absolutely nothing like this!
I started off completely wrong, and the longer I went on, the uglier it got. So I put the whole idea down. I started cutting out the rainbow (heat embossed with gold powder and colored with Aquamarkers) and removed some of the colors I didn't like. However, I kept the little house as it was. I also cut out the Unicorns, which I had colored with glitter gel pens.
I arranged the elements in all directions, but something was obviously missing. - After some rummaging in my drawers, I found the solution!
Here's my finished card, with the missing element - these dry embossed clouds, lightly brushed pink and sprinkled with fine glitter. The glitter is actually pink too, but it doesn't look like that in the photo.
I also stamped the stars above the rainbow with glue and sprinkled them with the same glitter, but apparently my camera was more attracted to the glitter than the color.
The sentiment says:
I knew it...
unicorns exist!
Have Fun!
