Katzelkraft - Holy Cow

Hi everyone!

It's Katzelkraft day. Here's my project for this week. 

Since I wasn't particularly inspired this week, I thought I'd take a look at what is celebrated around the world on February 18th. That's how I came across “Cow milked while flying in an airplane day”. 

Have you ever heard of this day?? - Me neither! 

But no, this is not a joke. Cow Milked While Flying in an Airplane Day is a real celebration!

I thought that was funny, so I came up with the idea for a card with a cow.

I stamped the animals and colored them with aqua markers. Masked them and brushed the sky with Mermaid Lagoon (Distress Oxide), using a homemade cloud stencil. I stamped grass and a few flowers under the animals' feet and three flies behind the pig. I colored in the flowers with a Posca pen and the flies with alcohol markers. Finally I stamped the sentiment with alphabet stamps.
