Let the good times roll!

Hi everyone!
Our current “Dream Factory” challenge, which I would like to remind you of briefly, is entering its second half.
This month's movie is

DRIVE
Anything that has Wheels Goes.

Isn't it fun to go for a "spin" with friends and have a good time?

My card is a mix of die-cuts and parts cut out with scissors. - The animals are from a design paper by Stampin'Up.
I put them all together to create a fun scene and pasted them onto an already finished background. - I just added the sun and the clouds.
The sentiment was stamped with alphabet stamps, cut to labels and glued on. I also stamped some white flowers and grass on one of the die cut parts.

Have a wonderful weekend!
...and maybe you have a little time to take part in our challenge ;)

When life gives you Lemons...

Hi everyone!

No design team work today. - Just wanted to play with ATC Around the World and Tag-along (and ATC's)
I combined the themes of these two challenges. - Stripes for the first and Drinks for the second.
Here is what I came up with.

I found these fun lemons as well as the word "Lemonade" in one of my countless design paper pads.
They look so cute - don't you think so too?

I cut them out and added a few dabs of color with alcohol ink markers to brighten up the images.
The background paper is from another paper pad. To complete the quote, I wrote the remaining words with a white gel pen on black cardboard. Cut them out and added them to the ATC.
The background stamps just under the lemons is from Katzelkraft.

Lots of Kisses

Hi everyone!
I have the great honor of once again being a guest designer for “Try it on Tuesday”.

The theme for the challenge is:
Add some Text
The challenges is 'anything goes'. As long as you stay within the
challenge theme, you can make whatever you like e.g.
...... a card, altered project, ATC, scrapbook page, journal page  tag,
mixed media or anything else you might like to try, including digital art.

Since I still had some scraps left over from the last card swap, I made a tag out of them.
The tag is from the stash and was almost ready to use. I simply stamped white letters on it and pricked the upper part with a die (like on my cards). Pasted on the sewn denim strips and the rose. Added the die cut sentiment and a few rhinestones, and finally tied two woolen threads to the top. That's it!

This picture shows the pricked part better.

Friendship

Hi everyone!

A few days ago we did a card swap in our little Stampin'Up group.
The theme of the swap was: Sewing
Here is what I came up with.

For this I...

...die cut roses from a pretty paper and colored the leaves with alcohol markers.

...sewed denim scraps, cut them into strips and frayed them a little.
...stamped numbers on all the cards (11 in total), and pricked the corners with a die.
...added green ink splatters to every card.

Once everything was prepared, I pasted on the denim strips and roses and stamped the sentiments.
It all went pretty quickly. - I actually spent most of my time finding an idea and realizing the prototype...

Hope you like it :)

Vespa - What else!

Hi everyone!
Time for a new challenge at the Dream Factory
Our movie for this month is:

Drive
This month we say:
Anything that has Wheels Goes.
...think outside the box! ;))

I stamped the Vespa once on a blank card and once on patterned paper. Cut out a part of the Vespa from the patterned paper and stuck it onto the Vespa that was stamped on the blank card. I then stamped the girl and colored her in with alcohol ink markers, trying to match the color of her pants on the poster. Cut out the girl and added her next to the Vespa.
For the background of the card, I scribbled with aqua markers on acetate, smudged lightly, sprayed with water and then applied the color onto a few areas. Used a brush and the same markers to add a little more color.
I die cut the letters for VESPA from peach-colored foam and lightly inked them with purple alcohol ink markers. Pasted them to the card and stamped the “What else !”
Finally, I added a narrow strip of washi tape to the bottom of the card.

Happy Birthday

Hi everyone!
I have the great honor of being this month's guest designer at Try it on Tuesday

The theme is:
In the Garden

I immediately thought of the beautiful design paper pad that I bought
months ago and never dared to cut out a piece. ...Now it's done!

I liked this idea because the flowers shown on the card
are also blooming or ready to bloom in my garden right now.

I cut a panel of the design paper in two with a die, then pasted the two pieces to a blank card, leaving a space for the sentiment. The small butterfly ist cut out with scissors and added. To finish, I stamped the sentiment and stitched the borders with a stitching wheel. Hope you like it.

...see you soon at "Try it on Tuesday" ;)

Best Wishes

Hi everyone!

I am delighted and honored to be a guest designer at A Place to Start for the months of June and July.
The theme for June is

ANYTHING GOES w/OPTIONAL TWIST:
Recycle

I'm a big tea drinker, so I recycled one of these bags, to stick to the twist of the challenge.

First, I laid the open bag flat and coated it with a layer of gesso. After drying, I stamped the flowers and leaves, then colored them with Posca pens and alcohol ink markers. I also added some golden accents to the flower petals.
I then created the background with blue, white, red and black acrylic paint and left to dry. I stamped the sentiment on the teabag label. Glued the teabag and label on a blank card, then stamped a background pattern in both corners of the card. Hope you like it.

The contents of the teabags are also recycled, which makes my plants and vegetables happy! 🌻🍅😎

Hope to see you play along at A Place to Start ...
