A Shade of Red...

Hi everyone!

Today starts a new challenge at the Dream Factory

The movie of this month is 

Turning RED

We make it simple!

Everything goes with the color RED

I stamped the gals and colored them partially with red watercolor. Masked them and made black ink splatters. Added a quote from Audrey Hepburn that I embossed on black labels, stamping only the word RED in red.

Hi everyone!

It's the second half on the Dream Factory and I want to remind you of our current challenge.

This month we have two movies...

Two is a Family and/or Bad Moms

The topics are:

Father's Day and/or Mother's Day - or simply masculine and/or feminine

My first card was for Father's Day, for the second one I chose the Mother's Day/feminine theme. 

To dress the girls I used the paper piecing technique (patterned paper for the one on the left and a scrap of homemade background for the girl on the right) - everything else I colored with watercolors. 

I backed the girls with pink cardstock and glued them to patterned paper, which I then adhered to a blank card.

Hello everyone!

Today starts our new challenge at Dream Factory

The movie for this month is:

Limitless

This month, we take it literally! 

"No limits" - just make something you enjoy, or what meets your needs. 

Yay, we can do whatever we want! - I wanted to put a lady Minion on my card :))

Actually, female Minions do not exist, but if you look closer, you can find some. 

Or maybe they are male ones in disguise? - I wouldn't be surprised! LOL

This lady Minion is handdrawn (I had a sample) and colored with alcohol markers. For her skirt I did a little paper piecing. 

I colored the background and shadow with watercolors and then glued the lady on. 

The sentiment is computer generated. Hope you like it.

It's half time at the Dream Factory, and I want to remind you of our current challenge

This month we have two movies...

A Perfect World + Black Swan

Keywords:

A Perfect World: Men, boys, father/son, bad boys - in short: Something Masculine

Black Swan: Women, Dancing, Tutu, Ballet - in short: Something Feminine

For my reminder card, I took inspiration from Black Swan - more specifically, from the eye on the poster. 

My friend Conny gave me this wonderful Lavinia stamp for my birthday and I have never had the opportunity to use it before. - The beautiful stamp was just a perfect fit here!!!

Sponging, stenciling, pearl pen dots, splatters, Distress Oxide.... are the ingredients for this fascinating look. - I just added the the bloody tear and I'm really happy how this turned out! 

The beautiful sentiment as well as the tear are from Katzelkraft.

It's time for a new challenge at the Dream Factory! - This month's movie is

Breakfast at Tiffany's

I used stamps from various manufacturers for this card. The Eiffel Tower, the sun and the sentiment are from Craft Sensations, the girl is from Stampin'Up and the arc at the top of the card is from Katzelkraft. 

I watercolored with felt tip pens. The upper part of the background is light blue and the lower part light purple to light brown. I made the dress and the hat of the girl with the paper piecing technique. I stamped the girl on a blue inked paper (from my kitchen) and fussy cut the required piece.

On the left I glued a narrow black stripe of cardstock - I think this gives the card a more interesting look!

Deux semaines autour des femmes et la mode ..... un vaste sujet  ;-)

Für mich war sofort klar, es musste ein Motiv von Collene sein! - Ich liebe diese schlaksigen Damen auf ihren hochhackigen Schuhen, sie sind einfach zu lustig! *lach*
Coloriert habe ich mit Filzstiften, ansonsten blieb die Karte sehr einfach.

Pour moi, il était clair, que ça devait être une image dessiné par Collene! - J'adore ces dames dégingandé sur leurs chaussures à talons hauts, elles sont vraiment trop marrantes! * rire *   
J'ai coloré avec des stylos feutres, autrement la carte est restée très simple.

Und jetzt bin ich sehr neugierig auf eure "Pretty Woman"  ;)

Traumfabrik Challenge # 17 -- Freie Filmwahl - Reminder

Hallo, ich möchte euch ganz kurz and die Traumfabrik Challenge erinnern!
Das Thema Liebe läuft noch bis zum 15. März !
......noch ganze zwei Wochen für ein kleines etwas ;)

Salut, j'aimerais très brièvement vous rappeler le challenge de la Dream Factory!
Le thème de l'amour, va encore  jusqu'au 15 Mars!
...... Encore deux bonnes semaines pour un petit quelque chose ;)

Für den Reminder hat mich 50 Shades Of Grey inspiriert!

Pour le reminder, je me suis inspirée de 50 Shades Of Grey!

Ich colorierte das Motiv von Katzelkraft mit Aquarellfarben - nur Schwarz mit mehr oder weniger Wasser!

Das fertige Bild habe ich mit schwarzem und grauem Papier unterlegt und bevor ich es auf der Karte befestigte, kamen drei dünne Streifen in verschiedenen Grautönen auf den Hintergrund.

J'ai coloré le sujet de Katzelkraft avec de l'aquarelle - seulement du noir avec plus ou moins d'eau!

J'ai fixé l'image sur du papier noir et gris, mais avant de le monter sur la carte, j'ai collé trois fines bandelettes dans différentes nuances de gris sur l'arrière-plan.

Ich mag das Ergebnis dieser einfarbigen Karte und ....vielleicht gibt es euch Ideen :)

J'aime le résultat de cette carte monochrome et ....peut-être que cela vous donnera des idées :)

Traumfabrik Challenge # 17 -- Freie Filmwahl

Hallo liebe Bastelfreunde, diesen Monat gibt es freie Filmwahl auf der Traumfabrik zum Thema Liebe.
Das bedeutet, dass jeder Teilnehmer seinen eigenen Lieblings Liebesfilm in Form einer Karte oder sonstiges zeigen kann. Die einzige Bitte, den Filmtitel in eurem Post angeben!

Chers amis, ce mois ci, il y a libre choix de films chez la Dream Factory sur le thème de l'amour.
Ce qui veut dire, que chaque participant peut montrer son film d'amour préféré sous la forme d'une carte ou d'une autre création. La seule demande, préciser le titre du film dans votre poste!

Mich hat Aschenputtel inspiriert.

Je me suis inspirée de Cendrillon.

Ich habe aber an eine etwas modernere Version gedacht :) 

Vielleicht gefällt euch meine sehr einfache Karte und 

vielleicht konnte ich euch sogar ein bisschen inspirieren, wer weiß!

Das tolle Motiv habe ich auf Collene's Blog gefunden.

Mais, j'ai pensé à une version un peu plus moderne :)
