Katzelkraft - Smile when it's raining 2

Hello everyone!
It's Tuesday and I'm back with a new creation made with Katzelkraft stamps!

Gosh! What fun I had using the ostrich and his feet again! - used them here too
This time I combined it with the beautiful quote stamp Smile When It's Raining and the somewhat older raindrops.

I stamped the feet and head and colored them. Then I stamped the quote. To get a very dark impression, I had to stamp it several times. I used Stampin'Up's Stamparatus for this, so nothing went wrong!
Then it was the raindrops' turn. I stamped and colored them.
To make the card look less flat and empty, I sponged the background with blue and gray Distress Oxide.
For the final touch, I stamped the top of the quote, which was the umbrella, in three different colors and cut them out. Put the three umbrellas on top of each other and, holding them firmly in my hand, I cut them into three pieces with the scissors. Then I glued them back together, mixing the colors. Before sticking the umbrella with adhesive pads, I added three or four feathers at the left.

I hope you like it! - See you next Tuesday with a new Katzelkraft inspiration! ;)

Ailo's Journey

Hello everyone!
Time for a new challenge at the Dream Factory. For the month of December we've selected the following movie

Ailo's Journey

The story of a newborn wild reindeer's struggle for survival amidst the magnificent landscapes of Lapland.
Reindeer, snow, forest, aurora borealis. Watch

For the aurora, I got inspired by a photo and I tried to recreate it as well as possible. Am quite satisfied with it!
After the background was done, I only had to stamp the fir trees and the little reindeer. I stamped the reindeer a second time, cut out after coloring and glued on. I deliberately left the card without a sentiment.

Hope you like it. - Have Fun!!

DotMCC - Challenge #22 - Reminder

Hello everyone!
Well, were you all nice and well-behaved?
....we will soon know who is on Santa's good list and who is not! 😉

I am back to remind you of our current challenge at Day of the Month Card Club

Santa's List Day

I made a more traditional Christmas card this time,
and I even managed to include some beads and a ribbon! - Who would have thought!!!

The first thing I did was to die-cut the large circle. Then I punched out a slightly larger circle from a square of red glitter cardstock than the one I had just made. I stamped the Santa image, punched it out with the same die I used for the red glitter cardstock, and then placed the image in its opening. I backed the card with the red glitter cardstock, making sure Santa was right in the big circle opening. This process prevents too many layers, and the card from getting bumps!

Lastly, I added the sentiment, some beads,
a ribbon, and a narrow strip of black cardstock.

I hope you are all on the nice list, and that the time until the Christmas holidays passes quickly! ...even if this Christmas will not have the same spirit as the previous ones!

Katzelkraft - Broken Crayons

Hello everyone!
It's Tuesday and I'm back with a new Katzelkraft creation, for which I used stamps from the "Les Mordants" set, and a sentiment from the "Relax, Citations Anglaises" set.  (see below)

After a lot of masking, stamping and coloring I am now quite satisfied with the result! I made some color scribbles with the edge of an old credit card and added two narrow strips of Washi tape at the bottom.

This is my first version - I prefer the portrait format! Which one do you prefer?

See you next Tuesday with a new Katzelkraft inspiration!

Santa's List Day - DotMCC Challenge #22

Hello everyone!
Time for a new challenge at Day of the Month Card Club! This month we are celebrating

Santa's List Day
December 4th

Santa's List Day is the day each year when Santa makes his list of children that have been naughty or nice, so he knows what to bring them for Christmas. Santa learns who has been naughty or nice after hearing from his elves. They visit people's houses from just after Thanksgiving, until Christmas Eve, and report back to Santa each night about who has been naughty or nice.

Presents or coal?
What do you think you’ll find under your Christmas tree in 2020?

Apparently you've been nice, because it says on my card that you're on Santa's good list! 😉

I stenciled thick blue snowflakes on the background. Then I stamped Santa and the gifts on cardstock, colored them with alcohol markers and cut them out fussy. Actually, the presents were stacked, but I didn't like it that way, so I cut them into individual packages and stuck them next to Santa.
Santa's list is hand drawn. The sentiment was found on Pinterest.

Hope you will all be on Santa's nice list!!
Have Fun!

Joyeux Noël with Non traditional colors

Hello everyone!
It's Saturday and today I'm here with the final 52 Christmas Card Throwdown challenge of the year.

Pick a previous 2020 52CCT challenge

Unlike the other months of the year, in December we only have one challenge for the entire month.
You can choose one or more of the challenges we have presented throughout the year. See the Challenge Blog!

Here is my choice for the last challenge of this year!

May color challenge
combined with June theme challenge

Some sponging at the corners and some snowflakes stamped with Distress Oxide.
A golden panel, which I dry embossed, and another panel,
on which I heat embossed the sentiment in gold.
Three sequins, done!

I hope you've managed to make all your Christmas cards
and that you only have to send them now!

Have fun with our last one of the year!

Katzelkraft - The best is yet to come

Hello everyone!
It's Tuesday and I'm back with a new creation from Katzelkraft
Today, I dared the little, big-eyed thing of the series "Les Scargots". (see below)

Frankly, I don't know what kind of creature it is, maybe you have un idea??

For the background I sponged the edges of the card and stenciled stars with Distress Oxide inks. Stamped the sentiment, the little monster and the Christmas tree. I had to mask a little bit for the Santa hat.
The scarf and the baubles were stamped on cardstock, fussy cut and glued on. I colored with alcohol markers and finished the card with a narrow strip of black cardstock.

Whatever this animal is, I hope you like it!
See you next Tuesday with a new Katzelkraft inspiration!
