Katzelkraft - Gönn dir was!

Hi everyone!
I'm back with a new Katzelkraft card.
I'm combining this post with the Day of the Month Card Club, where it's time to remind you of the current candy-themed challenge.

I stamped the funny mouse from the "Happiness" set on Bristol paper, colored it with alcohol ink markers and cut it out. It took its place on a gel print I recently made. The bottom part was already green, but I wanted to jazz it up with a little lemon-lime twist (SU). The Lollipop strip is a leftover piece from a similar card I made last year.
The sentiment is from Stampin'Up. It says: Treat yourself!

Hope you like it. - See you next Tuesday with a new Katzelkraft inspiration! ;)

Merry Everything...

Hello everyone!
Today starts a new challenge at 52 Christmas Card Throwdown
I hope you enjoy this color combination....

Kraft - Black - White

I cut two different sized sheets of Kraft card and placed the smaller one in the middle of the larger one. Stamped the pine cones and embossed them in white. Stamped the sentiment. Backed the small panel with black cardstock and glued it in the center of the large one. Adhered the finished panel to a slightly larger blank card.

Have Fun!

Katzelkraft - Life is short...

Hi everyone!
I am back with a new Katzelkraft card using one of the fun crocodiles from the new release.
Today also marks the start of a new challenge at Day of the Month Card Club, so I've included the theme in my Katzelkraft card.
This month DotMCC is celebrating

National Candy Day
Anything sweet, sticky, chocolaty, calorific and colorful goes.

I stamped the Crocodile and cakes onto Bristol paper. Colored them with alcohol ink markers and cut them out. Sponged and stenciled a green spot (Mowed Lawn - Distress Oxide) on a blanc card and glued the crocodile with the cakes next to. Added the saying made up of Katzelkraft and Stampin'Up stamps. Finished with a strip of washi tape at the bottom.

Hope you like it. - See you next Tuesday with a new Katzelkraft inspiration! ;)

Gifts from Santa Claus

Hi everyone!
New Saturday and new challenge at 52 Christmas Card Throwdown
As usual in the first week of the month we have a sketch for you. (see below)

Christmas is getting closer and closer and in a few weeks we will be sending out the first cards!!! Hopefully your pile of Christmas cards is already well grown! - If you're still missing some, there's a new 52CCT challenge every Saturday to inspire you ;)

For this week's card, I slightly spongeded a beige cardstock panel with white ink. Stamped the ladder and embossed the panel.  I stamped the Santa Claus on Bristol paper and colored it with alcohol ink markers. Cut it out and put it on the ladder. To suggest a little snow I added some black and white accents to the birch trees. I finished off by placing a little heart (sticker) in Santa's hand.

Katzelkraft - Charme Automnal

Hi everyone,
It's  Katzelkraft day!
I needed an autumnal card and Katzelkraft had just the thing! The beautiful pumpkin stamps designed by Isa were perfect for my needs.

To color the pumpkin, I simply pressed a Spiced Marmalade ink pad (Distress ink) onto a piece of acetate. Sprayed water on it and used it to color the area for the pumpkin, just letting the color run on the card. Once dry, I stamped the pumpkin and colored the leaves and grapes with alcohol ink markers.
I stenciled a leaf pattern with Mowed Lawn (Distress Oxide) and stamped dots along the edge. Covered the pumpkin and splattered purple acrylic paint on the card.
Stamped the text with white on a black strip of cardstock and added it to the bottom.
I die-cut one of the real leaves and stamped the other before cutting it out with scissors.
I did this with freshly picked leaves, as they tend to be brittle when dry. I attached them with foam tape and normal double-sided tape.

Actually, I needed not one, but twelve cards, as our little craft group organizes a card swap two or three times a year!  - The last one for this year took place last weekend! The theme was fruits and real leaves.

Hope you like it. - See you next Tuesday with a new Katzelkraft inspiration! ;)

Have a Wicked good time !

Hi everyone!
Gosh, how fast time flies!!!
It's time again for a quick reminder about our current Dream Factory Challenge.

OZ the great and powerful
Wizard, witches, fantasy, circus

One of the gel prints I made recently inspired me to make this tag.
I saw in it a ghost (far right) to which I drew eyes and a mouth.
Just behind the witch's head you can see a hand (maybe the ghost's hand) and there are ghostly swaths all over the background.
I stamped two bats, a cat, a spider web and a spider. The tree and ground are die cuts.
The pumpkins and the grave crosses are stamped and cut out.
I was thinking about embossing the word "Wicked" in green, but decided to go with black. I think green would have been better, what do you think? ...Maybe I will give it a try.
After everything was die cut, stamped, colored and dry, I glued the parts on the tag. - I had previously dabbed the edges of the tag with green ink.
Finally, I backed the tag with a slightly larger black tag. Punched a hole at the top and attached a cord.

Addition:

The idea of stamping "Wicked" in green has haunted me all night! LOL - So I gave it a try this morning.

Since I couldn't do it any other way, I stamped the word in green, cut it out and pasted it over the embossed one.
I don't know what you guys think, but I like it much better that way! :)
