Hello everyone!
Saturday is 52 Christmas Card Throwdown day and this week we have a technique for you...
Embossing Folder Background
There are several embossed panels for the background.....
For the large panel, I embossed with a star embossing folder and used the negative side. I added blue color with a Brayer and stamped a few stars in black to give more interest. The other two embossed pieces are leftovers that I found pretty to add!
The picture was with a cheese platter! In the middle of it was a white circle with the inscription "Quite a cheese", which of course was not compatible with my Christmas card! So I stamped this pretty little tit on watercolour paper, cut it a little bigger than the initial circle, drew the continuity of the branches, coloured it and then stuck the circle with adhesive foam pads. The picture is backed with black cardstock. I fussy cut the sentiment, sponged the edges of the two rectangles with black ink and stuck it to the card.
Hope you like it!
