We are entering the second half of our current Dream Factory Challenge. 

The movie of this month is 

Cobalt Blue

Anything Goes with the color Blue

I stamped the flower (background included) with Versamark and embossed it in white. Sprayed the panel with water and three different shades of blue and let it dry. 

During this time, I dry embossed a white panel and stamped and cut out the word "Thank you".

I picked up the flower again and colored it with more blue to make it stand out better against the background. While it was drying, I adhered the dry embossed panel to a blank card.

Instead of cutting, I tore the flower into a rectangle and adhered it and the "Thank you" to the embossed panel with foam pads. 

As a finishing touch, I colored the center of the flower with gold glitter pen.

Katzelkraft - Who... ?

Hi everyone!

It's Tuesday and I'm back with a new Katzelkraft post. 

Christmas season is always busy and there was no time for a bigger thing than an ATC, but as you can see it was big enough to accommodate this grumpy gorilla.

He's sitting on a stone wall and seems pretty annoyed. You'd better get out of his way! LOL

I colored the gorilla with alcohol ink markers and the stone wall with Aqua markers. I cut both out and glued them onto a gel print. Stamped the sentiment and a few dots, and backed the ATC with black cardstock.

The stone wall with the flower pots is a very old Katzelkraft stamp that is no longer available.

Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

Hi everyone!

Let's go for a new 52 Christmas Card Throwdown challenge. 

This week we want you to do a 

Clean & Simple

This card was quick and easy made! 

I splattered gesso onto a black card and onto the die-cut fir twig. The Christmas bauble is a pre-cut sticker. I tied it to the branch with a golden string. The gold embossed sentiment was already on the bauble.

This is my last contribution as DT for 52CCT. After five years of engagment, I want to leave room for someone else. The girls in the team are super nice and it was not an easy decision to leave the friendly group!  But we won't lose sight of each other, because as far as I can manage it, I don't want to miss the challenges and will continue to take part - just not as regularly as before.

Katzelkraft - The older you get

Hi everyone!

It's Katzelkraft day again :)) 

No lizard or snake today, but a chimpanzee - also one of the latest Katzelkraft stamps.

He's just too cute - isn't he?

I stamped the chimpanzee and bananas and masked them. I stencilled the background and stamped the foliage. The chimp and the bananas I colored with alcohol ink markers. Adhered washi tape to the bottom edge and cut out the area for the banana. The snarky birthday sentiment is from Stampin'Up.

Eine schöne Weihnachtszeit...

Hi everyone!

Time for a new challenge at 52 Christmas Card Throwdown. 

The theme of this week is

Snow Globe

and since we're celebrating  

Snow Globe Day

at the Day of the Mont Card Club,

I'm combining my reminder card with the 52 CCT challenge. 

I stamped the snow globes on Bristol paper, colored them with watercolors and cut them out. Added a piece of string to each one and placed them on a shelf that I punched out of a piece of design paper. 

Underneath I stamped garlands, which I colored with colored pencils and a beautiful Christmas sentiment. As a finishing touch, I added a few splashes of blue and a little Wink of Stella.

It's a wonderful time

Hi everyone!

Time for a new challenge at the Dream Factory

The movie for this month is

Cobalt Blue

In this movie, we are only interested by the title, i.e. the color Blue.

In other words, Anything Goes with the color Blue

The background was created using the negative of a stencil.

I applied Mermaid Lagoon (Distress Oxide) to the stencil, sprayed with water and made a print on a blank card - if you look closely, you can see the stars left by the stencil. 

I then stamped the scene, the stars and the text. I colored the scene very lightly with watercolor, adding a touch of red and brown. Backed the ATC with black cardstock. That's it!

Katzelkraft - You are Amazing

Hi everyone!

It's Katzelkraft day :)) 

Today's card shows a funny lizard. It comes from one of the eight stamp sets that have recently been released and that you have probably already seen on the Katzelkraft webside and on social media. 

As the lizard's belly can be seen, I wanted to place it behind a window. 

To do this, I punched an opening in the card cover and glued a sheet of acetate behind it. 

I attached die-cut leaves to the left side. The right side is stamped with leaf veins and flowers. 

The inside of the card is stencilled with a leaf pattern.

I colored the lizard with alcohol ink markers, cut it out and glued it behind the acetate. 

He is lurking on some fat bees, which I stamped with StazOn and colored with alcohol markers. 

The sentiment is from the Ataraxia set
