Katzelkraft - Kiss that Frog

Hi everyone!
I'm back with a new Katzelkraft project :))

Today I used the "Frog in costume", which is another of the new mini stamps from Katzelkraft.
I love this well-dressed guy! - He was just the right size for an ATC.

It took a little longer thant the last ATC, but it was really fun to make.
I stamped the different parts of the frog on gel print scraps, cut them out and assembled them on another gel print. The stamping in the background is from AALL&Create.
I heat embossed the sentiment onto black cardstock,
cut it into labels and stuck them on.

Hope you like it. - See you next Tuesday with a new Katzelkraft creation! ;)

Birthday Fishes

Hi everyone!
We are entering the second half of our current challenge at the Dream Factory.

Our Movie:

C'est la vie
A sense of Celebration

We are celebrating all the occasions that make us happy!
Birthday, wedding, retirement, promotion, baby, new house, new job, vacation, etc...

I recently treated myself to these funny PaperArtsy fish from the Kate Crane collection.
With their party look, I thought they'd be perfect for the “celebration” theme, so I made a funny maritime birthday card.
I colored the fish with alcohol ink markers and cut them out. They found place on a gel print, which I had previously embellished with two stencils. (swirls and reefs)
I added musical notes to some of the bubbles to make them more fun,
then used several Stampin'Up sets to compose the sentiment. The starfish is from Craft Emotions.

Have Fun!!

Katzelkraft - Cheese

Hi everyone!
I'm back with a new Katzelkraft card :))

Today I used Mouse Sisters, one of Katzelkraft's new mini stamps.
They're so cute and were just perfect for my ATC.

It was relatively quick to do. I simply stamped the mice on a gel print, colored them with colored pencils,
then stamped them again to get back the details of the fur.
I heat embossed the sentiment (stamped with individual letter stamps) onto black cardstock,
cut it into labels and stuck them on.

Hope you like it. - See you next Tuesday with a new Katzelkraft creation! ;)

Enjoy Every Day

Hi everyone!
I'm back to remind  you about the current challenge at Day of the Month Card Club.
This month we are celebrating

  National US Postage Stamp Day
Make something with postage stamps or design a card in the shape of a postage stamp.

For today's ATC, I made faux postage stamps.
I used animals from a sheet of design paper by Stampin'Up. Colored them with alcohol ink markers and then die cut them in the shape of stamps. I masked their edges and watercolored the backgrounds. Took off the masks, stamped the stamp value and then adhered them to a gel print.
I added some torn washi tape. Canceled the stamps and put a sticker (sentiment) on.

Have Fun! ;)

Katzelkraft - One of those Days...

Hi everyone!
I'm back with a new Katzelkraft card :))
This time I used one of the cute cat stamps from the Maryse Carrier Collection

The cat is having one of those days and wonders if its flower is feeling the same.

A quickly made card. I colored the image with watercolors and then cut it out. I stamped a few patterns on a watercolored background and glued the cat on. The words that complement the quote from Katzekraft have been stamped with an alphabet rotary stamp.

Hope you like it. - See you next Tuesday with a new Katzelkraft creation! ;)

Wanderlust

Hi everyone!
Time for a new challenge at the Dream Factory
This month we picked a French movie entitled:

C'est la vie
A sense of Celebration

It's a funny and entertaining movie about a wedding set in the ambience of the 17th century.

We are celebrating all the occasions that make us happy!
Birthday, wedding, retirement, promotion, baby, new house, new job, vacation, etc...

The merry company has settled down comfortably around a campfire.
They play music and serenade the moon.

The animals, campfire and grass are from Stampin'Up.
Tent, backpack, mug and sentiment are from Craft Senstions. The moon is from Katzelkraft.
I colored the images with alcohol ink markers and then cut them out. The background is from the stash - made with acrylic paints on black cardboard. All I had to do was to stick the things on.
I brushed a light white glow around the moon. Stamped the grass and musical notes and finally added the heat-embossed word Wanderlust. I cut it out along the letters so it wouldn't be too chunky. I hope you like my joyful fellows.

Have Fun!

Katzelkraft - To the Moon and Back

Hi everyone!
I'm back with a new Katzelkraft card :))
Today I used Weevil, one of the new guys from Stampotique by Katzelkraft.
As you might have already heard, the legendary Stampotique brand is now produced and sold by Katzelkraft.

The background for this card has been waiting for months to finally be used...
Today was its day! :))
It was created with the negative of a stencil. (When I work with a stencil, I almost always make a negative impression with the ink remaining on it).
Since the background was already finished, I had to cut out a circle between the branches to place the moon behind them. - I used yellow Distress Oxide to create a faint halo around the moon.
I stamped the right and bottom edges with some background stamps. Colored the cat and the boy with watercolors and alcohol markers, then cut them out and glued them on.
To finish my card, I added a heat embossed sentiment and scribbled some white lines under the cat and the boy's shoes.

Hope you like it. - See you next Tuesday with a new Katzelkraft and/or Stampotique creation! ;)
