Katzelkraft - To the Moon and Back

Hi everyone!
I'm back with a new Katzelkraft card :))
Today I used Weevil, one of the new guys from Stampotique by Katzelkraft.
As you might have already heard, the legendary Stampotique brand is now produced and sold by Katzelkraft.

The background for this card has been waiting for months to finally be used...
Today was its day! :))
It was created with the negative of a stencil. (When I work with a stencil, I almost always make a negative impression with the ink remaining on it).
Since the background was already finished, I had to cut out a circle between the branches to place the moon behind them. - I used yellow Distress Oxide to create a faint halo around the moon.
I stamped the right and bottom edges with some background stamps. Colored the cat and the boy with watercolors and alcohol markers, then cut them out and glued them on.
To finish my card, I added a heat embossed sentiment and scribbled some white lines under the cat and the boy's shoes.

Hope you like it. - See you next Tuesday with a new Katzelkraft and/or Stampotique creation! ;)

Bises

  2. Hi, I was wondering if you would share the name of the tree stencil that you used from Craft Sensations? I love it and could not find it. Merci

    1. Hi and thank you for your interest. The stencil is from Craft Sensation, a Netherland company. I bought it two or three years ago in an Action store. Now Action no longer sells stencils or stamps, at least not in my area. I don't think it's even available anymore.
