An Elephant Never Forgets...

Hi everyone!
Ready to go for a new challenge at The Little Things ?.......   GREAT!!!

This month's theme is:
Flamingo and/or Elephant
with the option:
Anything Goes

Our challenge blog is all about little things—more specifically, little cards.
Such as ATCs,  ATC coins, tags, Memorydex cards,
Mini Moo cards, bookmarks, inchies, etc.

We hope that the variety of card styles and sizes
will give you plenty of room to create something that suits your personal taste.

My leftover box is slowly but surely getting too small, so I thought to myself:
Why not make something out of the scraps…

I stamped the elephant onto a piece of scrap paper with a stenciled pattern and cut it out. Lightened the area around the eyes and the trunk with a white crayon, then glued the design onto the scrap piece cut to ATC size. I also added a few strips of washi tape under the elephant’s feet.
I then stamped the quote using letter stamps, heat-embossed it, and glued it along the edge. That’s it!

As you can see in the photos, I use an ATC card cut out of acetate. It really helps me organize the layout of my ATCs. That way, I can immediately see how and where to place the stamps, paper, and so on. I can stamp, paint, or draw on it without worrying that I'll ruin anything.
I also use this method for bookmarks, Mini-Moo's, and other small card formats.

Thanks for stopping by!
See you at "The Little Things" ;)
