Just a little reminder about our current challenge at the Dream Factory. 

The movie for this month is

Old

This month we're sticking to the movie title. 

So you can use old stuff and/or craft something that looks old or aged. 

(old stamps, old designer papers, vintage, but also skeletons and skulls)

For the tag I used paper from my gel print stash. The blue shade on the left was already present, but I accented it a bit more with Distress Oxide Peacock Feathers. The stamps are from Tim Holtz and really ancient. Had to have them but ended up using them very rarely. I stamped directly onto the tag, only the car is cut out and glued on. The sentiment is from Kaisercraft. On top I added an eyelet and a cord, which are also from the old days. Hope you like it.

R is for Retro

Hello everyone!
Wow, that was really last minute!!!
It's been a while since I played on Sisterhood of Snarky Stampers - it really tickled me and just before the end of the challenge I had a brainwave for their "Retro" theme!

I still had some papers I made a few months ago with a Gelli-plate and Distress Oxide inks. I cut a piece and used it as background for my card. I stamped the old car and one of the Pabos (both Katzelkraft) on it. I stamped the Pabos a second time, colored it with alcohol markers, cut it fussy and glued it on the already stamped one. I found the fun sentiment on Pinterest, wrote it on a piece of paper and cut it into small labels. I colored the edges with black felt-tip pen and then glued the words on the card. I sponged the edges of the card with some black ink. 

... "Sir Leopold Bollersbach" from cats on appletrees arrived yesterday - of course he had to pee on the car tyre after such a long journey! Hahaha

I had so much fun creating this card and I hope you like it as much as I do!

Good old times!

Hello everyone!
We have a new challenge at the Dream Factory! - This month's movie is

GREASE

Music, Dance, Cars, 50s, High School, Love.....

I made a trip to the fifties! 

Outfits, cars, music, ....how to have fun --- I just love those years! 

.... and I loved making this card!

There is no stamp on this card! The image is a mix of several images (found on Google and Pinterest) that I copied as well as the sentiment (a Dafont font) by hand. The checkerboard which serves as a background is drawn by hand. The sentiment is colored and fussy cut, then fixed with foam pads.

The vinyl is cut from black cardstock and sponged with white ink to evoke a slight glow of light. 

I used my alcohol inks for coloring.

Maybe you like the 50's too - I can not wait to see what you're going to do!

Hello everyone!
Do you remind our current challenge at the Dream Factory?

CARS

Originally it is an art deco poster that I found on the net. I loved the vibrant colors of this drawing so much that I could not resist taking it! ... very simple lines and therefore quite easy to reproduce them by hand. - I colored with felt-tip pens.

The word HAPPY are die cut letters and the birthday sentiment is my computer's work. ... From time to time we must know how to delegate, right?

I glued all on black cardstock and then to the white base card. .... I used a piece of linen fabric to embosse the base card.

I also did an ATC - not often that I do it but it happens.

And that too is inspired by an art deco poster! The cars, stars and writing at the top are stamps, everything else is drawn by hand on yellow cardstock and colored with gray and brown markers.

Inspired?? - you still have two weeks to join us!! It would be great to see your creations!

We have a new challenge at the Dream Factory! - This month's movie is

CARS

..... you guessed, it's about cars!  😉

Ah, this time I made it very simple! I stamped the images (all from Scrap Plaisir) and watercolored them using felt-tip pens. 

To do this, I scribble with felt-tip pens on an old CD and then I use it like watercolor.

I stamped the two road signs and stuck them on a thin strip of gray paper. 

And voilà a very old car - be it the model of the car or the card making! LOL

Truly, I made this card in 2014 and I never showed it - it was time, right!!!

Fast and Furious - Reminder

Hi friends.

Terrible!!!! In two weeks I have not even done one card!?!?!?! --- that has to change, I agree with you !! ;)
So, let's go on with the reminder at the Dream Factory.

This car is not a stamp! - Look at the original!

I used tracing paper, some coloring pencils (black and grey) and permanent marker 

for the outer lines, tire and some other details. -- Tire tracks and sentiment are stamped.

Fast and Furious 

is our theme and you still have another fortnight to do something for this topic.

FAST and FURIOUS

Hi friends.
Today is the 15. of the month and that means that we have a new challenge at the Dream Factory for you.
For the next four weeks we selected "Fast and Furious", - a perfect movie for masculine creations!

Cars, gears, speed, roads, guys .... and of course pretty girls --- stuff for men, not true?!
These are just some key words to inspire you. I'm sure you still find other ideas which I have not thought!

And now, let's go to meet a not always easy challenge ... !

This is a very imposing stamp which requires much space, so I decided to keep the card as simple as possible.

A bit of blue ink SU on an acrylic block, which I sprayed with water and pressed on white paper. - My background was born and I just had to add the car and the word stamp!

Subsequently, I stuck the image on the card, which is fitted with aluminum foil and embossed.

The same with orange background on only one layer.

Time for a new challenge at House of Cards!
This month we would love to see on your creations .....script and/or colors!

Create a card with script and/or using the color palette.

Here is some inspiration from me :)

On my first card you can see stamps from Stampin'Up set "By the Tide" and "Teeny Tiny Sentiments", some corrugated cardboard, red twine and a tiny starfish charm. - A very simple card.

When I saw Pam's card, I knew immediately that it will be perfect for my new stamp! 

So I was strongly inspired (not to say that I copied) by her gorgeous card and I'm very happy with the result! --- which was of course very simple to do!

Ich finde die amerikanischen Autos der 50er Jahren waren echte Traumwagen! ..... und ihr?
Je trouve, que les voitures américaines des années 50 étaient de vrais voitures de rêve! ... et vous, qu'en pensez-vous?

Hier ein schöner amerikaner der 50er Jahre. 

Genauer gesagt ein Cadillac "Eldorado" von 1956 .... *schwärm*!

Leider kann ich diesen Stempel nicht "mein Eigen" nennen und 

ich mußte wieder mal mit altertümlichen Methoden arbeiten *grins*

Eigentlich hätte er ein bisschen kräftigere Farben verdient, 

aber daran ist meine "mach ja nicht zuviel" Seite schuld!! :(

Voici une belle américaine des années 50.

Plus précisément une Cadillac "Eldorado" de 1956 ..... elle est magnifique!!

Malheureusement, je ne peux pas appeler cette estampille, "mienne" et 

j'ai dû travailler encore une fois avec des méthodes anciennes *sourire*

En fait, elle aurait mérité des couleurs un peu plus fortes, 

mais c'est la faute de mon côté "n'ajoute pas de trop de choses"!! :(

Chevrolet 3100 Pick-up ...Roter Flitzer aus den 50er Jahren

Markus hatte Geburtstag, ich weiß er mag schöne Autos und TuNinG, 

aber leider stand zur Zeit nur dieser rote Flitzer aus einem anderen Zeitalter in meiner Garage und deshalb bekam er den...

Markus a fêté son anniversaire, je sais qu'il aime les belles voitures et le tuning,

mais malheureusement, pour l'instant,  je n'ai que ce bolide d'une autre époque dans mon garage et par conséquent, ....

...auf sein Geburstagskärtchen. 

Mit etwas Verspätung, denn bei dem Wagen waren kurz vor der Abfahrt noch einige Reparaturen fällig *gg* 

Wie ich hörte, hat er die lange Reise aber sehr gut überstanden und ist heil bei ihm angekommen...

...je l'ai collé sur sa carte d'anniversaire.

Avec du retard, car peu avant le départ, quelques réparations étaient nécessaire *lol*

J'ai entendu, qu'il a survécu à ce long voyage et qu'il est bien arrivé là-bas...

Ach ja, hier noch eine Großaufnahme vom Starter..... *lol*

Diese Karte war auch noch bei dem dieswöchigen Sketch auf der Bastel -Elfe mit dabei.

Gestern habe ich euch ja schon die Geschichte von "Titeuf" erzählt, 
wie ich ihn fand, als ich nach einem Motiv für die Geburtstagskarte meines Enkelsohnes gestöbert habe....
Glücklicherweise bin ich auch für meinen "kleinen Mann" fündig geworden!
Diesmal habe ich mir das Motiv ausgedruckt, ...aber nur um es in meiner Nähe zu haben, um es kleiner zu zeichnen! .....Es war nämlich viel zu groß!! ....A4!! 
Ja, ich hätte es schon mit dem PC verkleinern können, kein Problem und ich hätte mir auch ziemlich viel Zeit gespart aber ich wollte es selber zeichnen, ....was eigenhändiges machen!

Hier ist mein Werk!

Coloriert habe ich wie fast immer zuerst mit Aquarellstiften und dann mit Filzstiften in Aquarelltechnick! Nachdem alles trocken war, habe ich die Linien des Motives nochmals mit einem feinen schwarzem Tintenstift nachgezogen, damit ein schöner Kontrast entsteht! 

Hier, je vous ai raconté l'histoire de "Titeuf",

comment je l'ai trouvé en cherchant un motif pour la carte d'anniversaire de mon petit-fils....

et bien heureusement, j'ai trouvé aussi quelque chose pour mon "petit bonhomme"!

Cette fois ci, je me suis imprimé le motif, ....mais seulement pour l'avoir prés de moi, pour le dessiner en plus petit car il était beaucoup trop gros!! ....A4!!

Bien sûr, j'aurais pu le réduire avec le PC, pas de problème et en plus, j'aurais gagné du temps, mais je voulais dessiner le motif moi même, ....le faire de mes mains!

Voici mon oeuvre!

Comme presque toujours, j'ai colorié avec des crayons Aquarelle puis avec des feutres en technique Aquarelle. 

Pour finir, j'ai retracé le motif avec un crayon à encre noir fin pour renforcer le contraste!

Und hier geht es weiter mit dem Innenleben der Karte!

Weil Noah sowas gerne macht, habe ich mir ein kleines Labyrinth ausgedacht! ....gar nicht so einfach, so einen Irrgarten zu machen!!

Dafür habe ich seinen Namen in ganz großen Buchstaben gezeichnet und dann das Labyrinth eingebaut.

Am Eingang ist ein kleiner Knirps und am Ausgang ist ein Muffin! :-)

Et voici l'intérieure de la carte!

Comme Noah aime bien faire ces trucs, je me suis imaginée un labyrinthe! ....pas facile de faire un dédale!!

Pour ce faire, j'ai dessiné son nom en très grosses lettres puis j'ai intégré le labyrinthe.

A l'entrée, il y à un petit bonhomme puis à la sortie un muffin! :-)

Zuletzt, habe ich den Rest der Seite noch etwas dekoriert, aber nur so viel um noch genug Platz für die Glückwünsche zu lassen!

Ensuite, j'ai décoré encore un peu le reste de la page, mais juste assez pour garder assez de place pour l'écriture des félicitations!
