Thank you BERRY MUCH

Hi everyone!
June is over, and so is the first half of the year!Unbelievable how fast time flies!!
I'd briefly like to remind you that we're now kicking off the second half of our Dream Factory challenge

Cleaner

This month's theme is CAS—pretty simple, right?
...or maybe not! ;))

It's been months—if not a year—since I made a card based on a sketch but...

...yesterday I saw one on my friend’s blog that inspired me to make this card.
Of course I’m entering it in her challenge—after all, the sketch was what sparked my creation!

The fence and mouse images are once again from a picture book (Deco Time). They're so cute! I’ve already used them to make a card and an ATC. The die-cut foliage (Deco Time) is leftover from this pop-up card. The sentiment embossed on black cardstock is from Stampin’ Up.

You can see tiny strawberries (Studio Light) on the strip behind the mouse. To create them, I stamped tiny hearts and added tiny leaves with a felt-tip pen.
The yellow paper along the lower diagonal is patterned with white flowers. The design is so delicate that you have to squint to make it out—even up close!
For the two sets of three dots, I stamped tiny little flowers (Stampin'Up).
To add a nice finishing touch to the card,
I cut out the panel using a scalloped die and then glued it onto a blank card.

The card looks a lot more complicated than it actually was.
What took me the most time was coming up with the idea! LOL

Hi everyone!
New Saturday and new challenge at 52 Christmas Card Throwdown
As usual, the first week of the month, we challenge you with a sketch. (see below)

After six weeks off, I'm not quite in the mood making Christmas cards, LOL.
Here is the first one since my return. Made with pre-cut images and patterned paper. I added a die cut circle of glitter cardstock to keep up with the sketch.

Tis the season

Hello everyone!
Today starts a new challenge at 52 Christmas Card Throwdown. This month it's my turn to guide you through the challenges.
As always, we'll start the month with a sketch. (See below)

I cut a piece of patterned paper into three pieces, adhered it to silver glitter cardstock and then stamped the deer.
For the snow, I tore a piece of white glitter cardstock and glued it under the deer. Pasted the panel into a dry embossed rectangle with foam pads. Stamped the sentiment, done!
I hope you like it and maybe I could inspire you to join in!

Let it Snow

Hi everyone!
Today starts a new challenge at 52 Christmas Card Throwdown
This week we have a sketch for you (see below)

I stamped the snowman, masked it and then lightly stenciled the background in blue with Distress Oxide Mermaid Lagoon. I stamped the fir trees, the sentiment and three snowflakes, tracing one of the snowflakes with blue glitter gel pen. The snowman and snow hills I colored with alcohol markers.
The panel is glued to a white blank card whose edges I previously sponged with Mermaid Lagoon.

Have Fun!

Happy Holidays

Hello everyone!
Ready for a new challenge at 52 Christmas Card Throwdown
This week we have a sketch for you (see below)

I used a sheet of bristol paper as a backing and adhered two strips of washi tape. Colored the cute stamp from Craft Emotions with alcohol markers, cut it out, backed it with a die cut circle and stuck it on with foam pads - Such a cute pair, don't you think?
Finally, I stamped the border and the sentiment. Voilà, a quick and easy Christmas card! Hope you like it!

Have Fun with the challenge!

It's all fun and game ....

Hello everyone!
Ready for a new challenge at 52 Christmas Card Throwdown
This week we have a sketch challenge for you (see below)

The Santa is from Stampin'Up and is colored with alcohol markers. As I wanted to let the beautiful designer paper show through, I backed him with a circle die-cut from light green vellum paper. The placement for the sentiment on the sketch was not quite ideal for my design, so I placed it under Santa. Hope you like it.

Have Fun with the challenge!

O, come all ye faithful...

Hello everyone!

All of September I have the pleasure of hosting the challenges at 52CCT and as usual we start the month with a sketch. - Maybe there is something in it that will make you want to join in.

I stamped the little scene on three pieces of Kraft paper, colored them with colored pencils and then backed them with dark grey cardstock.
I used a very fine linen fabric for embossing the background panel - I love the delicate texture it creates.
The sentiment is heat embossed on a dark grey strip and mounted with foam adhesive pads. Two of the images are also mounted in this way.

Have fun with the skech!

Happy Holidays

Hello everyone!
Saturday is 52CCT day and I'm here today with our new challenge.
This week we play with a sketch. (see below)

I wanted to keep it CAS and made a super simple card!
First I embossed the card to create some texture. Then I cut out a strip of Christmas design paper, cut it off at a third and rounded the inner corners. I repeated the whole thing a little bit bigger with black glitter foil and backed the design paper strips with it. I attached a mini brad to the upper strip and hung a lamp on it.
The sentiment is stamped on small, black framed labels. It says: We wish you happy holidays
I traced the Stars with yellow micro pen, added a bit Wink of Stella and stamped a few tiny black stars here and there.
