Alles zum Geburtstag!

Hello everyone!
I made this card for my son's birthday. He loves cats and has been dreaming about having a little "house tiger" for a long time...

This funny little gang is here to congratulate him on his birthday!

I used the whole Katzelkraft set (Les Chats Russes) and stamped the cats on the card using masks.
Artemio's branch fitted perfectly to put the mouse on the card as well!
I colored with colored pencils....something I rarely do, I know! The sentiment is from SU.
I'm sure he'll love it!! :)

Sweet Treats

Hello everyone!
Saturday is 52Chistmas Card Throwdown day and here is my inspiration for our new challenge.
The theme is: Sweet treats

I decided for a shaker card - that jar was so suitable to put my sweets in!

The peppermint candies are die-cut circles which I coloured with felt-tip pens.
The candy canes are stamped and fussy cut.
I filled my jar with all these goodies and added some sequins for more fun.
I covered the jar with a piece of paper towel and attached it with a gold cord.
The small label serves as base for the sentiment.
I sponged the background panel with Cracked Pistachio Distress Oxide and spritzed some white ink on it.
I die-cut two circles from white cardstock for the lower part of the card - it reminds of snowhills.
The upper part is embellished with a die-cut snowflake border (Memory Box).
Finally I glued the shaker and a little robin on the snow hills.

...and now I'm looking forward to your sweet treats! ....have fun!!

Let's cook...

Hello everyone!
There is a new challenge at the Dream Factory. This month's movie is:

No Reservations
Rezept zum Verlieben
Le Goût de la vie

Keywords are: Cooking, Friendship, Family, Love...

Except the sentiments, I used the whole stamp set "Perfect Mix" (Stampin'Up) for this card. I filled the empty places between the utensils with a few donuts and a heart (Craft Sensations). I colored with felt-tip pens. The letters of COOK are punched out of black foam, those of LET'S out of black cardstock, and those of YUMMY are stamped, fussy-cut and fixed with foam pads. - The word "SOMETHING" is stamped right to the card. I glued a small piece of Washi tape at the bottom of the card for more interest.
I think it's a nice card for a hobby cook or baker - both for him and for her.

DotMCC - Challenge #9 - Reminder

Hello everyone!

...did you already have an idea for our new challenge?
Here is my second card as inspiration and to remind you to our

Look for Circles Day
on

It must be the fun cows from Stampin'Up! - That was my thought for this birthday card!
They look through the holes I punched out of the embossed panel.
I watercolored the cows with felt-tip pens, fussy-cut and put them behind the circles, letting some parts stand out.
The MOO is punched out of brown foam.

I had a lot of fun creating this card and wish you just as much fun with our new challenge!
Hope you find some time to play along! - You'll find all information on the Challenge Blog....

Joyeux Noël

Hello everyone!
Are your Christmas cards ready yet? No...?! There are only a few weeks left - take the opportunity and join us at 52 Christmas Card Throwdown! This week we want to see these two colors:

Purple & White

I started by smooshing alcohol inks on photo paper. As I didn't have purple, I made some mixes - poppyfield, mermaid and silver. I think it looks pretty purple!
I die-cut two firs out of this paper and a third one out of white glitter paper, of which I only kept the edge.
Then I die-cut the sentiment out of purple cardstock and white glitter paper and glued them together with a slight shift - the main ingredients of my card were done.
I embossed a panel of white paper, added a ribbon at the bottom and glued the trees (one of them with foam pads) and the sentiment. The three small stars are the cut-outs from the big star of the sentiment.

Here a closer view of the shimmering colors on the glossy paper.
If you wish, click to enlage the photo.

Have fun with the colors!

DotMCC-Challenge #9 - Look for Circles Day

Hello everyone!
Welcome to our 9th Day of the Month Card Club challenge! Our new theme is:

Look for Circles Day
Celebrated on November 2nd.

Look for Circles day is one of those days that gets you really observing the world in a new way.
Keep your eyes open when you travel or walk, you will see, circles are everywhere! There are the obvious ones like the sun, the tires on the car, a record, a coffee cup or a button... and those that are less visible — the ripple of a raindrop or pebble dropped in a puddle, knots on trees, soap bubbles, the center of a flower.....

Many circles on this card - more than 50, if I counted right....
I sponged a small panel with Distress Oxide and splattered white and red ink on it. After drying, I fussy-cut the hand-drawn and watercolored flowers and stuck them on the panel. I drew the stems of the flowers and stamped the circles and the tiny leaves, into which I also drew very small circles. Finally I stamped the sentiment and drew a thin black line along the edges. I added an embossed panel between the image and the base card.

Have lots of fun with our new challenge!
.....I'm sure you'll see many more circles than usual from now on! 😉

There is ALWAYS a reason to celebrate!

Fröhliche Weihnacht...

Hello everyone!
It's cold, it's raining and the weather is so bad that you don't even want to take the dog out of the house - in other words, a fantastic weather for crafting!
That's perfect, because we have a new challenge at 52 Christmas Card Throwdown and since it's the first Saturday of the month, it's a sketch!

Today I set my mind on using a design paper! - I have so much of this stuff and it always stays where it is - in the shelf!!
My God, what have I done! Design paper and me - we really don't go well together!
...and yet I have managed something let's say "acceptable"!
Now from the very beginning! First I tore the two fir trees out of a piece of paper that had been on my table for weeks. It was a failed attempt with a stencil and Distress Oxide inks for another project, but I can't throw anything away! The frame in the background is also something unfinished, and as I was in the recycling phase, it went straight to the new project.
I didn't want to squeeze the sentiment into the little tag and decided on a funny sticker. Below it a strip of Washi and a star, punched out of foam. The sentiment found its place in the upper part of the card!

Have fun with our sketch!!

Don't be afraid...

Hello everyone!
I would like to remind you of our current challenge at the Dream Factory!
Our movie theme this month is:

The Little Witch
Witches, ravens, sorcery.... you know, it's Halloween!

I die-cut a circle and used it as a mask on my panel. I sponged the whole area with Fresh Fig and Pumkin Pie (Stampin'Up). I removed the masking and made some fog with the edge of an old credit card, a bit Fresh Fig and black ink. I stamped the branch, the owl, the tree, the leaves, the grave, the stone wall and the sentiment. Then it was the bird's (Katzelkraft) turn. To make it look like a raven, I colored it with black, gray and violet felt-tip pens and then fussy-cut it. I stuck it to the panel and put a spider in his beak. The owl is also colored with felt-tip pens. Finally I masked the moon again, splattered white ink on the panel and glued it on the base card.

Hope you like it!
