A quick reminder about the our current challenge at the Day of the Month Card Club...
There are two days to celebrate this week.
National Beach Day
and/or
National Lighthouse Day
Last week I made a card for the Lighthouse Day and this week I made one for the Beach Day.
For this card I sponged the background with Distress Oxides. Stenciled the sun and adhered sandpaper to make the beach. I colored the images with alcohol markers, cut them out and glued them on or stuck them in the sand.
Finally, I stamped the sentiment and glued the whole thing on a blank card.
Have Fun!
Happy Beach Day everyone! 🏖️

I couldn't agree more with your sentiment, Rossi. I love the sandpaper sand and all the beach paraphernalia tucked in-between the sand mounds. Beautiful stencilled sunset too! Thank you for sharing your work at The Path of Positivity. It's perfect for our 'inspired by the sea' theme. x
RépondreSupprimerThat sandpaper makes that beach so real! A great scene you made! Thank you for joining us at Stamping Sensations!
RépondreSupprimerRosi: your setting sun stencil is terrific! That's such a cool effect for your beachy card! And it's fun to see that you've used sandpaper for the sand! Resourceful! Thanks for sharing your card with MTTC! --Becca/DT
