Hi everyone!
Time for a new challenge at the Day of the Month Card Club!
This month we are celebrating
National Beach Day
and
National Lighthouse Day
The blue background was already in my stash. I splattered white ink on it and then stamped the lighthouse, the birds and the light beam.
Stamped the lighthouse again on Bristol paper, colored it with watercolors and cut it out.
I tore design paper into strips and adhered them to the background along with the lighthouse.
I also stamped two background texts from AALL&Create. One on the left side and one at the base of the lighthouse.
I cut the words of the quote into small labels. To keep it from looking too bulky, I replaced every other word with a stamped one. Finally, I cut the panel slightly smaller than the blank card and glued it on.
